Ann’s interest in art began over 20 years ago when she and her late husband Trevor did the Open College Of Arts painting course.

They joined the Derby Sketching Club in 1970 and by 1980 were on the committee. Ann then served as exhibition secretary for a number of years before taking on the role of secretary in 1991 a position she held for a further 14 years.

The models are booked to run for two consecutive weeks wherever possible to enable artists to continue with their work if they wish.
